Signing day is upon us for the class of 2021. And while this year has been anything but ordinary, we want to take the time to honor and thank all our 2021 NOCA signees for their hard work and dedication to the program.
Take a look below at some of our NOCA alumni who are moving on to the next level.
Collin Loupe (Jesuit Shortstop) signs with UNO today!
— NOCA Baseball (@NOCABaseball) November 18, 2020
Special player with elite infield actions and a big motor. Kid never gave up on or doubted himself, and the road wasn’t always easy.
A Mentor this Fall to our 13’s and leader for our entire NOCA program. Mom & Dad did good! pic.twitter.com/LxDDzC9TTu
Lance Lauve, RHP Holy Cross signs with SLU. Had his whole family with him today!
— NOCA Baseball (@NOCABaseball) November 12, 2020
I’ve had Lance since he was 8 yrs old. He was an outstanding Catcher that is completely dedicated to his Arm. He is a technician that gets to 90mph with a filthy slider. SLU getting a good one! pic.twitter.com/bAm37kwwxK
Jake Cabeceiras, SS at Rummel signs with UNO. Mimi & Bobby, Mom, Dad, Caitlyn.
— NOCA Baseball (@NOCABaseball) November 12, 2020
I’ve watched Jake his whole life…literally. Jake brings a plus Glove, Power, and Athleticism. More important to his father, he does it right off the field and loves the work. pic.twitter.com/WJljAEhMvG
Ryan Harland (LHP) to LA Tech
— NOCA Baseball (@NOCABaseball) November 12, 2020
Hunter Ponson (RHP/3B) to LSUE
Brennan Holt (SS) to LSU
Parkview Baptist is loaded!
Harland is a complete Pitcher and total Winner.
Ponson has electricity on every pitch.
Holt is the best Game Disruptor I’ve ever coached. @PBSBaseball2019 pic.twitter.com/FDLlpl55z1
Ryan Smilari, Outfielder at Rummel HS, signs with UNO. Parents and Family were there.
— NOCA Baseball (@NOCABaseball) November 12, 2020
I’ve coached Ryan since he was 8. Great outfielder that smashes from the left side of the plate. One of the toughest outs in the city.
Ryan also mentored our 13’s this Fall.@PrivateersBSB pic.twitter.com/A3bXAKd1sF
Blaise Priester, Catcher Live Oak, Signs with Meridian CC…family and friends all came to take part!
— NOCA Baseball (@NOCABaseball) November 12, 2020
Blaise came to NOCA at 13 and just kept improving. 1.87 POP Times and 115mph Exit Velocities didn’t come overnight. Way more baseball ahead for Blaise!@MCCEaglesSports pic.twitter.com/GbNEyaHxFM
NOCA has a bunch of 2021’s Sign today. Let’s take a moment to recognize the boys and their families…and we’ll have a bunch more coming!
